About Me

My photo
This is my "snapshot scrapbook" of our daily doings for my children and family. I hope to preserve the "everyday" for my children and for us so that we can always read it and remember.

Eagle Day 2014

This morning was Sullivan's first Eagle Day at MA. The weather was great, she was psyched and we even came home with a new pet fish from a carnival game. Although it was Navy who won the day, Sullivan still had a blast and enjoyed the fun event. It has changed so much since my day!

Easter 2014

Despite heavy rains recently, the weather turned clear and sunny for our Easter Sunday. In beautiful, handmade gowns by my mom, the girls behaved well in mass and later we were able to enjoy Easter lunch in our backyard with both sets of parents.
With a great egg hunt and a gorgeous bunny cake from Edgar's of Birmingham, we had a ball.

I am pretty sure that this is our 21st night to watch in a row.

Sullivan's 6th Birthday Party

Awaiting the guests...

Getting ready to bounce.

Homespun Unicorn cake.

Back-lit glow fun!

Last Friday we had a glow party at the local bounce house, Pump it up, to celebrate with all of Sullivan's friends. The girls had a blast and Sullivan loved every second of it!

Sullivan's 6th Birthday!

Holding her new American Girl Doll, Isabelle.

Sawyer chose a "Bitty Baby Twin" boy for her "little brudder". She is calling him "Big Boy". Hilarious.

Sullivan gets outs all her doll's gear.

The hotel package included a pair of new wings for each girl.

At home, celebrating with Fro-Yo.

Hotel Package also included doll beds and pink sheets, pillows and towels to "pink up" the place.

On the carousel at the North Point Mall. Holding Coconut the dog, above and below.

Sullivan is 6! I can hardly believe it! To celebrate, I took the girls on an overnight trip to Atlanta to visit the region's only American Girl Doll store. It was quite an adventure, but both girls loved the shopping, picking out special doll things, riding the mall's carousel, and our great Marriot AG hotel package. Next up, the birthday party!

Happy birthday, Sullivan!
