About Me

My photo
This is my "snapshot scrapbook" of our daily doings for my children and family. I hope to preserve the "everyday" for my children and for us so that we can always read it and remember.

Game day

Lee has become the Medical Director for Huntingdon College and they played at home this weekend, which means it is a full day of Football on all fronts!  Lee stays on the sidelines and we cheer from his truck parked in our driveway, as we have full view of the field from our patio. This Saturday we had our friends the Coopers come over and join us and we all did our best to make homemade lemonade for the event. Go Hawks!

Date night 2.0

Part of my birthday present from Lee was a cooking class with a friend of his, Preston Williams, of Fleur de Lis Catering.  After several attempts of scheduling this night, it finally happened last Tuesday night and was certainly worth the wait! Not only did I learn how to hold my knives correctly while chopping and prepping, I also learned how to make a ratatouille, wrap fish in grapes leaves and make an aioli. It was one of the most original date nights yet...a night to remember! Above you can see the candlelit setting, the appetizers, our menu, the flowers and our fish.

New Loves

Sullivan hearts Scooby Doo.
Lee loves his new pipe and we all adore the glorious fried goodness at The Cock of the Walk. Yum!

The Graduate

Last weekend was big as Lee graduated from his five-year orthopedic residency at Greenville Memorial hospital. We couldn't be more proud! We also had the annual Department Roast, celebrated Father's Day and our 7th wedding anniversary. What a weekend!
