About Me

My photo
This is my "snapshot scrapbook" of our daily doings for my children and family. I hope to preserve the "everyday" for my children and for us so that we can always read it and remember.

A moment with Sawyer

Tonight my little Sawyer stole my heart. I find this particularly interesting as she is pushing and testing me lots lately, even just a few hours earlier. As I was singing her a lullaby here is what she said:

Do you know who the Queen of heaven is?
It's Mary.
She is dead but she lives in our heart.
Like Jesus and God.

And do you know why I am your baby kitty cat?
Because you are so sweet to me, Mommy!

This little conversation touched me and made me laugh and cry all at once! She is so dear to me!

Eagle Day 2015

Getting ready for the races with breakfast and face painting.

Excitement in the car!

Sawyer and I watch anxiously from the bleachers.

Sullivan prepares for her relay!

We have had a big morning of Eagle Day at Sullivan's school! It is the annual field day and carnival and not only did the first grade girls win their race, our team Cardinal won overall! We then enjoyed the carnival, talent show, games and bounce houses. And each girl has won a new fish! A big day!

Daddy's girls

The other week, Lee's mom kept the girls while I had to work. She surprised Daddy by bringing them to his office for some hugs. I love this picture and the girls' braids.
