About Me

My photo
This is my "snapshot scrapbook" of our daily doings for my children and family. I hope to preserve the "everyday" for my children and for us so that we can always read it and remember.

Calloway lights

We had a great time yesterday with Lee's parents as we took a limo to the lights at Calloway Gardens! The lights, village and Clydesdale horses were a sight to be seen! It was fantastic!

Thanksgiving Program

Our little Indian had a Thanksgiving program at her school! Sawyer was so proud! She has been singing her precious songs for weeks...it was such fun to see her on the stage doing all the motions. How nice that Lee, my parents and Lee's mom could be there!

The hunting camp

Shortly after we found out during my pregnancy that Greer was a boy, Lee got an invitation to join a hunting camp down highway 231. This Saturday the children and I made our first trek out to see the cabin and peruse the place. Next, we ate an amazing lunch at Red's Little School House, a classic place in Grady, AL. A very nice Saturday indeed.

Blah blah

Our Greer has discovered his tongue! He is sticking it out and making all kinds of new little moves and noises. I have been trying to get a good pic for days but this is the best I can do! Ha!

He is also loving cereal and squash this week---his first foods at almost 17wks.

Weekend

Sullivan caught a lizard.

The bow. Lee's newest hobby.

Not bad!!!

The girls roam the back lawn...

Greer tries cereal as his appetite never ceases! Not sure what to make of it...

He is getting pretty good at his exersaucer!
Below, Sullivan's latest play dough sea creations.

After what seems like many weeks, we finally had a slow, nothing planned weekend. We needed it!
We have been making fires in our den as of late...feels like fall.

First swing

His first few rocks in our outdoor swing were a little uncertain...no smiles from the little man. He was super cute, though! He is getting so big!
