About Me

My photo
This is my "snapshot scrapbook" of our daily doings for my children and family. I hope to preserve the "everyday" for my children and for us so that we can always read it and remember.

Sweetness

I have some sweet photos of my Sawyer Carlisle! She is getting so big and beginning to read. We are headed to Kindergarten Open Houses this week! Very exciting.

Christmas 2015

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We hosted family for dinner after mass, per our tradition, and enjoyed a rendition of the Nativity by Sullivan and Sawyer (aka Mary and Joseph) as we ate. After a nice and slow Christmas morning with the girls (Greer slept in!), we had Lee's parents over for a time and then headed to my parents' home for lunch. Later, we celebrated with Lee's maternal family on the 27th in Alex City. The kids had a blast, all in all. We are very grateful.

Greer speaks!

At 17 months Greer is saying quite a few things...da da, ma ma, wow, yay, ay (for yes), out, ice, hi, hey...

He is busy and bustling while awake!

One classic Greer story is just today eating at Chappy's: as I went to wipe his dripping nose, he protested and slammed his head back-and-forth, hitting himself on the side of the table with a lot of force. He had cut himself by his eye and was had drew blood. He quickly returned to eating, not bothered at all. This is all in a normal day with our Greer-man. Whew!
