This is my "snapshot scrapbook" of our daily doings for my children and family. I hope to preserve the "everyday" for my children and for us so that we can always read it and remember.
-Sawyer is cute,Mommy. -Daddy is really naughty! -Are you excited about Daddy's birthday? I am!!! -My underwear is in my bottom. It happens sometimes. -Sawyer's not my friend right now.
A new Chainsaw. Cookie cake slices. A "happy birthday Daddy" song sung in full by Sullivan. A new italian shotgun. A package from home. A homemade card. One very special Daddy.
We just left Macy's, where you can send a letter to Santa himself, placing it in a lovely gilded red mailbox. Sullivan's letter went as follows, without a moment of hesitation:
Dear Santa, I want some dice and maracas. Thanks for hugging. Love, Sullivan age 3
Sullivan had her first "recital" this week in her ballet class. It was really only a "parent observation class", but it felt like our first "big kid" event, in a way. It was breath-takingly adorable; I was controlling both tears and laughter. Sigh.
