About Me

My photo
This is my "snapshot scrapbook" of our daily doings for my children and family. I hope to preserve the "everyday" for my children and for us so that we can always read it and remember.

Stomping ground

Sometimes an object has a way of telling a story. I enjoy how a line up of our current soles speak so much as to where we are in this moment in life.

Budding artist

Sullivan is becoming quite the prolific artist, it is really fun to share with her!

16 mos

I hope to always remember Sawyer at 16 mos, perhaps these qualities in particular:
-She is a cuddler and snuggler.
-tenderhearted, timid at times
-began walking at 16mos, 1week
-has about a dozen words and animal sounds (nah, ruff ruff, hi are favorites...)
-likes french fries, diet coke and coffee (her mother's addictions)
-playful and joyful, happy and smiling most often.
I am so grateful for this precious child!

Police vehicle

I needed the true police force to help me through this grocery store trip! I laughed as I read the police Tag on the cart! Isn't it funny how the simplest outings can become ridiculously complex with small children? (note Sullivan's downcast drama above!)
