Snow days

As of yesterday, we have had chilly winter weather here complete with a dusting of powder. My parents came over to play and we snapped a few pics. Per Deep South ways, Tomorrow will be day 3 of school closings!

Baby on the way!

  We are very happy to announce that we have another child on the way! I am 13wks along and Baby is due August 3. The girls are getting really excited about it, Sullivan in particular. She keeps kissing my belly, finding baby things and placing them in the baby's future room and thinking of Baby names...she will be such a Mommy to this little one! Sawyer isn't saying too much for now.
I am starting to feel better and I am thrilled to have this ultrasound, above, of Baby at 12wks as I never had images at that point with the girls. It was amazing to see the difference between the 6wk image of basically a butterbean to the 12wk image of so clearly a baby.  We hope to find out the gender by March.

Happy birthday, Josephine!

My neice Josephine turned 6 on January 3 and we celebrated at the ice skating rink. It was a great time but I think Jo enjoyed it the most!
So nice to be in town and attend these family events!

We had a blast yesterday as we all had fun events to attend to ring in the new year. Our precious new neighbors, The Brooks, had a darling preschool NYeve party that the girls adored and then my parents had a wonderful drop in event at their home with beautiful flowers, an overflowing bar and gorgeous food. We finished the night with a six course meal at True restaurant with our dear friends The Coopers. This was one of our best NY Eve's yet!

We really enjoyed not traveling this Christmas, our first time in 8 years!
We had a grand time at home and family came to us! Our greatest gift was a new house. We can't wait to see what 2014 will hold!
