For my record, Sawyer's lovie-of-choice, is a tattered hand-me-down from Sullivan: a white Little Giraffe blanket with silky edges that no longer has the original silk polka dot layer on top. I purchased probably about five different new blankies for Sawyer since her birth and we received another handful of new lovies from friends and family...but they do not do for her. This worn-in, over-sized, loved-on, nubby and not very soft white one is her choice. And it does seem to fit her ways just right.
