We have had really fun week and weekend, as my classes haven't begun yet and Lee hasn't been working nearly as hard, as he is now on a new, lighter 3mos rotation. During the week, Sullivan and I had fun exploring a new pilot Walmart, smaller and more upscale; wandering downtown to new coffee shops and the Reedy River Falls park; and practicing new moves around the house as Sullivan is on the cusp on crawling and at present rolls to get where she wants to go. This weekend I was able to go to the movies with girls from my bible study on Friday night (thanks to Lee!), Saturday morning I hosted a baby shower for our dear friend Shane and then to top it off, Lee and I had a smokin' hot date to a great steakhouse last night. This really beats the previous week when Lee was on call 4 out of 7 nights! Hooray for goodtimes free of work! It makes such a difference to have him home.
On a different note,I was thinking the other day how the last 18 mos in my life have been so interesting. From finding out about Sulllivan in August, 2008, to her birth in March and her first 9mos of life...it is really wild how quickly life can change and take our breath away. I love that I have this blog to help me sort it all out. And did you know that you can create a bound book of your blog for not too much money? I think I will do that each year...

Great entry! I forgot to ask about your date! So glad you had some great times before heading back to work. And the spiffy Wal-mart doesn't hurt a bit! Tell me about the new coffee shop downtown. Also...we'll have to discuss scrapbooking the blog and where to get that information so I can join in. I know I will regret it if I don't. Thanks for sharing all of your fun times!
you simply must make it into a book! what a precious gift for sullivan one day! you are a beautiful writer, and i certainly enjoy your entries as well much as the beautiful photographs! i miss you dearly, friend, and look forward to talking to you soon. i'll give you a call tomorrow and hopefully we won't have to play tag before we connect!
p.s. i hadn't the chance to tell you how impressed i am with the presentation of your blog! now with patterns, colors, and music- bravo!
