About Me

My photo
This is my "snapshot scrapbook" of our daily doings for my children and family. I hope to preserve the "everyday" for my children and for us so that we can always read it and remember.

Polar opposites

I have two extremes to report:
1. Lee and I have had a terrible bout of food poisoning (or some other equally as vicious GI bug) and have been sadly draped over couches, chairs and floors today yet,
2. Sullivan has clumsily but successfully fed herself with a spoon for the first time (a full dip of the utensil and cram into the mouth!) as well as taken more steps independently than ever before. Toting items while walking has been of particular interest...

So, although Lee and I feel like zombies, our angel girl is soaring sky high. For this, we are grateful. For Lee's call night tomorrow, we are a bit less appreciative.
Pictures and video to come as soon my energy returns. I do hope that you and yours are healthy and happy!

I trust that you and Lee are feeling good at this point. Glad to hear that Sullivan is well and holding her own thank the Lord. As you read this, may everyone in your family be well. God bless.

Oh so sorry for your illnesses! Darn! But...yeah for Sullivan! It is so common for kids to hold objects when they first walk for stabilization. So that means there is no going back :) Babyproof your house!!! She is just going to get faster and go farther! I know tomorrow will be a long day. Let me know if you need anything. See you soon...

Great to hear about Sullivan's accomplishments! The first few years are simply amazing to watch. Sorry to hear about the stomach bug...from other friends, it sounds like the south has been hit hard.
