A new platform for performing?
Ever since we moved in last December, a large leaning pine has been on our mind, as it hovered dangerously over the house. Although it was a healthy tree, the lean on its root system made it precariously perched and had us holding our breath during each storm.
Today it came down.
They deemed it to be at least 110 years old. We had to get the city arborist to approve felling it before action was taken. It is sad to end its life and I couldn't bear it all being lugged away. I have saved two large mid-sections of the giant and I hope to have something made from it.
